Besides being a superstar, Shah Rukh Khan is also a great friend. The actor is highly concerned about the health of his best buddy Bobby Chawla.
Also the CEO of his film production company Red Chillies Entertainment, Chawla was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital, after he suffered from a brain haemorrhage.
The actor is leaving no stone unturned for the quick recovery of his pal and Juhi Chawla’s younger brother. In addition to making trips to holy shrines to pray for his friend Shah Rukh is making sure that Bobby gets the best medical help. A source close to King Khan informs, “Though Shah Rukh Khan knows that Bobby is being given the best treatment at the hospital, being a concerned friend he wants to do even more. He recently called up Tina Ambani and requested her to let hospital authorities to allow Bobby to consult with outside doctors as well. The hospital, which has a team of top doctors from across the world, doesn’t usually allow such a thing, but they made an exception in this particular case.”
Shah Rukh’s publicist quips, “Shah Rukh is very close to Bobby and treats him like a brother. He frequently visits him but I think only close family members can make such demands at the hospital.” The official spokesperson of the hospital, Neelam Kanwar, however confirms, “Mr Khan has definitely not asked for any outside consultant for Mr Chawla. However what he has requested the hospital is whether he can explore some alternative medicine options.” Get well soon, Bobby.
