SRK, Sallu to play cricket together for a charity match during IIFA this years.

Their infamous row has hogged headlines for a long time but Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will come together for a charity match during IIFA this years.

The actors, who have not been on speaking terms for last two years, will unite to face Sri Lankan cricketers during the match, which will help raise funds for the rehabilitation of former child soldiers.

The actors became bitter enemies after their fight during the birthday party of actress Katrina Kaif in 2008.

Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu and Sanjay Dutt will flip the coin for the toss during the match, which will be organised on the day two of IIFA weekend.

Shah Rukh, will also perform during the three-day-long extravaganza to be held in Colombo June 3-5, after a gap of five years.

Other celebrities to attend the event are Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi.

Apart from the main award ceremony, a global business forum, a fashion extravaganza, a film workshop and premieres of upcoming films will also be held.

Boman Irani, Deshmukh and Lara Dutta will once again host the awards gala.

SRK at Tag Heuer’s 150th anniversary

Shah Rukh Khan and Karun Chandhok recently celebrated watchmaker Tag Heuer's 150th anniversary in Gurgaon. SRK and the F1 racer kicked off the Tesla World Tour: The Odyssey Of Pioneers – a traveling roadshow that exhibits TAG Heuer's finest timepieces in 15 cities .

For the purpose, TAG and electric carmaker Tesla Motors have collaborated to launch the TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster, a one-of-a kind car, which will go on the 15-city world tour, spanning Basel, Monaco, Milan, Budapest, Warsaw, Moscow, New Delhi, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, London and Paris. TAG also organised an exhibition of its 16 historical timepieces and three watches for the future – the TAG Heuer Pendulum Concept, Monaco V4 and Carrera Calibre 1887 Chronograph, on the occasion.

Karun and SRK gave the Roadster a try when they got behind the wheel and drove it on to the stage. The evening also saw the premiere of the TAG Heuer Grand Carrera Pendulum, a 2010 concept watch, which is the first to have movement without a hairspring. It was unveiled by Shah Rukh Khan and Jean-Christophe Babin, President & CEO, TAG Heuer. "I have had a deep relationship of mutual admiration with TAG Heuer for the 7th year running now. It's exciting to welcome the TAG Heuer-Tesla Roadster into India," said SRK. Karun added, "While I've been working closely with TAG Heuer for a long time now, being signed on as an official brand ambassador on its 150th anniversary makes this even more special for me. As a Formula One Racer, I am thrilled to drive the TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster."

Shah Rukh going for rehabilitation programme in US!!

Shah Rukh Khan, the King Khan of bollywood who has been shooting for his upcoming superhero project ‘Ra1’ despite of nagging injuries in his shoulder, back and knee, is likely to go for another rehabilitation programme in the US to keep himself fully fit.
In fact, earlier Shah Rukh Khan did not take above injuries seriously and went on doing his shooting, etc, with quick fix solutions. But now the situation is such that these injuries come in the way of performing one or other sequences for the film and keep troubling the star.
So he has decided to stop pushing the limits of his body and instead go for anther rehabilitation programme in the US to become completely fit for his superhero action sequences in ‘Ra 1’.
Shah Rukh Khan’s trainer Prashant Samant knows the condition of his body and hence has prescribed more cardio exercises than weight lifting to maintain SRK’s six- pack- abs needed for ‘Ra 1’.
Shah Rukh Khan plays the part of a scientist in the film who wants to make a robot. He succeeds in it but the robot turns monster and King Khan himself had to face and kill him.
Kareena Kapoor plays the part of his wife in the film, while Arjun Rampal plays a bald negative character.

Riteish joins Salman’s camp?

After Shah Rukh Khan chose Arjun Rampal over Riteish Deshmukh to play the villain in Ra. One, in spite of Riteish being the first choice, the latter seems to have found solace in SRK’s rival Salman Khan!

Riteish who was exceptionally close to Farah Khan, Sajjid Khan and SRK, now is seen spending more time with the Salman camp... comprising of Sallu and his brothers Sohail and Arbaaz.

Riteish recently even openly declared how eager he was to work with Salman in a film on Twitter! Riteish also never fails to compliment his Salman bhai on the same social networking site for various reasons.

Riteish who is also close to Abhishek Bachchan seems to have fallen out with Shah Rukh owing to his exclusion from Ra.One as according to our sources it was Shah Rukh who chose Arjun over Riteish when Ra.One’s director Anubhav Sinha preferred the opposite as Riteish had worked in his previous film ‘Cash’.

Though Riteish hasn’t spoken a word about his ouster from Ra. One, he has apparently mentioned it to a few close friends as he felt Shah Rukh or Anubhav should have informed him that he would no longer be doing the film.

Salman makes fun of Shahrukh

Bollywood’s most lovable brat our dear Sallu still carries the resentment against Shahrukh and has not forgotten and forgiven the differences.

SRK says, “We are settled in our differences” while Salman doesn’t misses an opportunity to take a dig at his one time close buddy. During a promotion of the talent hunt that Farah Khan judges, Salman Khan made some snide remarks about King Khan and his films. He said that he will star in ‘OSO’ and ‘Main Hoon Na’ sequel and SRK is the second choice. Interesting to note that both films are helmed by Farah Khan for SRK banner Red Chillies and when Salman said this, Farah was present.

Not only that, it’s been heard that Salman is getting friendly with SRK detached club. The macho hunk was seen with Riteish, Dino Morea and Sanjay Kapoor - all were once SRK loyalist.

Shah Rukh Khan was feeling sad he didn't get time to pay respect to his parents at their burial ground in his hometown Delhi.
The 45-year-old Bollywood superstar was in the capital for TAG Heuer's 150 years anniversary celebration event on May 19.
Shah Rukh launched at new watch at the event that alwo say India's motor racing prodigy and Formula One driver, Karun Chandhok, became the latest brand ambassador for the luxury watch brand.
After the event while at the Delhi airport for his flight back to Mumbai, Shah Rukh tweeted:
"in the airpor lounge & writing. wish there was a twitter in heaven...could write to parents. maybe should have gone to their burial place.
"tag was fun & very hot. delhi is burning.always enjoy tag outings...babin & co of tag r very elegant and fun. launched the pendulum watch."
Shah Rukh's father Taj Mohammed Khan was a freedom activist. His mother Lateef Fatima was the adopted daughter of Major General Shah Nawaz Khan of the Janjua Rajput clan, who served as a General in the Indian National Army of Subash Chandra Bose.
Khan's father came to Gurgaon from Qissa Kahani Bazaar in Peshawar before the Partition of India, while his mother's family came from Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

Shah Rukh is 'Pappu’s Papa'

That’s his role in a new ad, guess what he's endorsing?
After endorsing brands like Hyundai Santro, Linc pens, Navratna Oil and Tag Heuer, Shah Rukh Khan will now endorse Apart from Pepsodent toothpaste.

In the ad campaign titled ‘Papa & Pappu (P&P)’, Shah Rukh will be seen playing a doting father, while child artist Keval will play his son Pappu.

"Shah Rukh Khan is the best choice for ‘Papa’ in the campaign as the super successful actor also practices what he preaches. He is the perfect role model of a father who finds ways to spend time with his own children away from his active schedule and stardom," Srinandan Sundaram, Category Head - Oral Care, Hindustan Unilever Limited said.

Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri have two kids - son Aryan and daughter Suhana.

Shah Rukh Khan, Akki in a gift war??

Shah Rukh Khan, the badshah of bollywood who was not very pleased with director Farah Khan for signing Akshay Kumar for her next venture ‘Tees Maar Khan’ seems to have forgiven the actor as he not only sent a congratulatory message to Akki for the success of ‘Housefull’, but also sent a luxury watch as a gift.

Akshay Kumar, the action Kumar of bollywood who never likes to be outdone by SRK in any manner whatsoever, reverted immediately with even costlier watch for SRK, thus neutralizing the effect of gift. Though cynics view this exchange of gifts as a war but sources reveal that it may also indicate the end of hostility between the two bollywood biggies.

They point out that Akshay Kumar had always been helpful towards Shah Rukh Khan and in the past gave him valuable tips on back and shoulder injuries. It may be recalled that Shah Rukh Khan had to undergo surgery for his shoulder after he injured it during the shooting of ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’.

Even otherwise, Akki has said several times in his interviews that he and SRK always end up discussing his shoulder injury and other health tips.

In fact, Akshay Kumar had even suggested Shah Rukh Khan to go for some form of hydrotherapy for his fitness and other troubles.

Friendship gone sour

This is one guru-chela relationship we would have liked to see survive the travails of time. Their friendship began during the shoot of Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. He starred in her super-hit directorial debut Main Hoon Na and then they did Om Shanti Om. But the going was too good to be true.

Why the dump: When Farah approached SRK for Tees Maar Khan, he apparently kept her waiting for too long. And he’d already said no to her husband Shirish Kunder’s movie. Fed up of being taken for granted, Farah moved on to Akshay.

SRK reveals the mystery of Ra.1

He is a hero and the most desirable Bollywood actor in the overseas market. Already a superman at the B.O. as far as the overseas market is concern; Shah Rukh Khan who is donning the avatar of a superman in his next home production ‘Ra.1’ explains the title and reveals what’s the full form of Ra.1. He says “Ra.1 means Random Access-Version One, will understand when you see the film. Ra.1 site will be up soon.”

Well that’s the only information the superstar gave and many started wondering whether its was a khullasa (reveal) or was a smart ploy to add one more mystery to the film where Kareena plays his wife and Arjun Rampal will again show his negative shades after ‘Om Shanti Om’ and directed by Anubhav Sinha. Right now the shooting of the film has taken a back seat as the CEO of Red Chillies Entertainment - Bobby Chawla is still admitted in the hospital.

We hope Bobby recovers quickly and SRK starts filming his superman stunts in ‘Ra. 1’ and hopefully as and when the reels get completed, people will understand what’s the Badshah of Bollywood has in store in ‘Ra.1’.
