The Khan of all seasons, superstar, Shah Rukh Khan will be the finale performance at the 6thApsara Film & Television Producers Guild AwardsTM. Having performed last year as well, audiences will witness the high adrenaline performer at his very best.
The glamour quotient will reach an all time high with some of the biggest names in the film industry putting on their best to enthrall audiences, ensuring an evening of pomp and splendour, embodying Indian Cinema.
President of the Guild, Ramesh Sippy said, “This year, the Apsara Awards look especially promising with some star studded performances. There is a spectacular line-up of stars from various sectors of the industry and we are really looking forward to the show.”
The original ‘Sheila’, Katrina Kaif is ready to dazzle with her first stage performance after the much-talked about dance sequence in Tees Maar Khan. She is set to don avatars from her films Rajneeti, Yuvraaj and Tees Maar Khan. To heat things up further, Priyanka Chopra will also set the stage ablaze at the Awards.
The newbie’s in town, Gauahar Khan and the Sri Lankan beauty, Jacqueline Fernandez will add some zing with performances on the item numbers they are best known for. Gauahar will don her dancing shoes once more alongside fellow stage-actors, Hussain Kuwajarewala and Kashmira Irani for a joint performance from the hit Bollywood musical – Zangoora: The Gypsy Prince. The stellar performance by the cast will showcase the high energy and drama of the production that plays out at the Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon.
Fresh from her blockbuster, Band Baaja Baraat, Anushka Sharma will be also be performing at the Chevrolet Apsara Film & Television Producers Guild AwardsTM while Govinda will put on a spectacular tribute to veteran actor fondly known as the He-Man of the Golden Era, Dharmendra. The act will celebrate the 50 years of Dharmendra’s career with Govinda performing to the songs that made the actor, iconic.
