SRK, Kareena, Priyanka, Saif, @ Umang Police Show 2010

Is Gauri trying to patch up SRK, Salman?

Gauri Khan's presence at Sohail Khan's birthday bash last night made everyone around wonder if SRK and Salman would finally bury the hatchet and call it a truce.

After their infamous spat at Katrina Kaif's birthday bash few years back, Shah Rukh and Salman went their separate ways. The two couldn't hide the tiff and awkwardness brewing between them ever since the incident happened. Even at occasions when they did face each other the two looked through each other.

The two mighty Khans have however maintained a dignified silence about the cause of their rivalry. Even in their interviews, the two have never spoken disrespectfully about the other.

Shah Rukh even said he'd like to watch Dabangg in a press conference which was an indirect compliment to Salman. Salman too reciprocated by saying he'd want everybody to watch his film including Shah Rukh.

Just recently when Shah Rukh paid an impromptu visit on the sets of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Ja to meet Madhuri Dixit, he hugged Malaika Arora Khan to everyone's surprise!

Backing her husband's friendly gesture was Gauri who too turned up last night for Salman's brother Sohail Khan's birthday bash.

"Salman and his entire family were present. When Gauri entered there were these whispers here and there on how will Salman take her presence. Fortunately everything went well. Malaika is close to Shah Rukh and Gauri and apparently it was her decision to invite Gauri to the bash," revealed a source present at the venue.

Given the current scenario, the two Khans and their families seem in a forgiving and forgetting mood. Will the New Year mend their broken friendship? Watch this space for more..

SRK makes Madhuri blush

Last Wednesday Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit had a terrific reunion of sorts at Filmistan. The moment Khan saw her on the sets of a dance reality show, he walked up to her, hugged her tight and kissed her hand.

As Madhuri blushed and turned away, Mallaika Arora Khan, SRK's friend-turned-foe Salman Khan's sister-in-law, rushed to meet him too. Their 'intended' air-kiss however ended up looking rather odd.

It so happened that SRK was in Filmistan to shoot for RA.One. Notice his ear stud probably an accessory for the film? As he alighted from his car, he saw the name 'Madhuri Dixit' pasted on a vanity van.

He ran to the venue, where the dance diva was shooting. The cameras were in fact rolling when King Khan entered the sets and walked up to greet Madhuri, oblivious to the rest of the world, but then again, Dil toh pagal hai!

SRK flaunts six packs again!

SRK is all set to repeat what he first did on Farah Khan's supervision in Om Shanti Om. The Badshah of Bollywood will be going topless once again and this time for his upcoming film Ra.One .

According to a unit hand, Shah Rukh is presently shooting for a promotional song at Filmistan Studios along with costar Kareena Kapoor and Shahana Goswami. Those who have seen rushes of the song claim SRK will be at his hottest best avatar, as he goes topless once again and flaunts the six packs abs that he made so popular, three years back.

When asked, Shah Rukh denied going topless but confirmed getting his six pack abs back. Without divulging much about the song, he said, "I am not going shirtless but yeah I have got my three packs back and certainly working on getting three more soon. We are presently shooting the song in Filmistan Studios". With Farah Khan no longer being in the picture, Shah Rukh has got Ganesh Hegde to choreograph the song.

A source from the unit also informs that apart from the two hotties Kareena and Shahana, Chinese-American star Tom Wu will also be part of this song. There will be 10 tracks composed by Vishal Shekhar and two promotional songs, of which one is being currently shot in Filmstan. Shooting for the second song will start from 22 Dec,

SRK too features in WikiLeaks!

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and the threat by the Shiv Sena to ban screenings of his film My Name is Khan found mention in a US embassy cable that was leaked by WikiLeaks. My Name is Khan is a 2010 movie made by Karan Johar in which Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol played the lead
roles.

"The Shiv Sena had threatened to ban screenings of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming movie, My Name is Khan, because Shah Rukh Khan publicly lamented the absence of Pakistani cricket players in India's professional cricket league for the coming season," says the cable dated Feb 22, 2010.

The cable posted in the Guardian newspaper said that Shiv Sena goons burnt posters of the movie and protested in front of his home, asking Khan to "move to Pakistan".

"Khan himself did not bid on any Pakistani players as co-owner of one of the frachises," it said.

While some theatre owners refrained from screening the film on its opening day due to security concerns, "a show of force by the police convinced theatres to roll out a full release" the next day.

"With protests and controversy generating far more international buzz than the typical Bollywood movie, Khan's new movie opened to packed audiences in Mumbai and elsewhere," it added.

SRK's merry getaway to Goa

No matter how hectic his shooting schedule is getting by the day, actor Shah Rukh Khan has, apparently, planned a quick Christmas getaway to Goa with wife Gauri and pals Arjun Rampal and Tushar Kapoor. Interestingly, actress Sonam Kapoor will also be joining Shah Rukh’s group, who’ll be grooving to legendary DJ Paul Van Dyk.

“All of them have separately communicated to the authorities of the Sunburn Festival about attending it together between December 25 and 27. Shah Rukh will be there on December 26, or he may choose to fly out on December 25 night after spending Christmas with his children. Arjun (Rampal) and his wife Mehr will be reaching earlier. Neha (Dhupia) is also supposed to be there but it’s not sure, ditto with Hrithik and Suzanne,” says a source.

According to sources, the private lounge of the festival director Shailendra Singh will be reserved only for his family and the Bollywood stars.

“My phone has not stopped ringing...everybody is requesting for a seat in my private lounge. The problem is the lounge can only accommodate 30 people. So, other than the top names and my closest friends, nobody is allowed into that lounge,” says Shailendra.

Shah Rukh, an aficionado of trance and EDM, is reportedly kicked about grooving to beats of the ‘Gods of EDM’ including Paul Van Dyk, Axwell and Ferry Corsten.

“Shah Rukh might decide to take his kids also with him, but his managers have requested absolute secrecy about the visit. SRK is also planning to throw another party (other than the party planned on the 26th), but that will be a personal beach party with his actor pals includingSonam,” the source ends.

Pals Shahrukh Khan and Akon exchange tips

Actor Shahrukh Khan is a self-confessed fan of Akon's music. As is Akon of Shahrukh's acting in Bollywood Flicks.

The pair have worked together earlier this year on Bollywood action movie 'Ra.One' which also features actress Kareena Kapoor and actor Arjun Rampal.

Shahrukh and Akon have become so close that Akon has promised to give Shahrukh some tips on rapping in exchange for Hindi lessons from him.

In the movie singer Akon has sung in Hindi for one of the tracks. Intially it was only meant to be the odd word in hindi for him to sing but after blowing Shahrukh away with impressive singing in the Hindi dialect it was decided to put some more lines into Akon's song.

Confirming this on Oneindia Entertainment, composer Shekhar Ravjiani speaking on behalf of the duo Vishal and Shekhar, who have composed the Akon track, said: "Akon's Hindi took all of us by surprise. It was almost like he had been speaking the language all his life. No one could believe Akon was seeing those Hindi lines for the first time. He just rattled of the lines as if he was conversant with Hindi. When you hear the song you will see no difference in the singing quality of Akon's English and Hindi lines."

The movie is expected to have 10 track and Vishal and Shekhar are in the process of creating the soundtrack.

"The director Anubhav Sinha has such a keen ear for music. He understands ragas, rhythm, melody and the format of music composition. Shahrukh too is very clued to world music. We are creating the kind of global sound in Ra.One which has never been heard in Indian cinema before." said Shekhar on Oneindia Entertainment.

The movie is set to be released for Diwali 2011.#

"Phas Gaya Re Obama"s director (Subhash Kapoor) next with SRK?

Director Subhash Kapoor who has got lots of accolades for his film Phas Gaya Re Obama might just be directing his next film with none other than the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh. Apparently, Kapoor had already met SRK and narrated a script to him before he went on to make Obama.

“SRK had loved one of Kapoor’s script and was very keen to sign him on for his production house. However the King Khan was busy with his home productions and his commitments to Don 2 and a Yash Chopra film so he asked Kapoor to wait for some time. So, Kapoor decided that he would make a small film in the meanwhile and that’s why he made Phas Gaya Re Obama starring Neha Dhupia, Rajat Kapoor and others. The film might not have met with box office success but got critical acclaim and Kapoor is now flooded with offers.”
